To begin today's lesson you go out to the nearest Wal-mart store and pick up about 5 or 10 packages of the popular sticky notes they sell.

Using The Sticky Notes

For beginners, put a sticky-note on everything in your house-- in the kitchen, place a sticky note on the stove, the oven, the sink, the refrigerator, the table, the window, everything you find in the kitchen.

In the bathroom, you can locate sticky notes on the mirror, the sink, the towel rack, the window, most everything you see.

And another thing -- you don't have to stop at just putting the notes up in the living-quarter part of you home. You can place sticky notes all over the garage, the basement, and even in the backyard. Imagine the great practice you'll get just looking up all the words and writing them out on the notes.

For Intermediate and Advanced Students

Of course, intermediate and advanced students of Spanish can benefit from using the sticky notes too! Here's how -- Every week, challenge yourself to write 5 new vocabulary words on a sticky note -- and stick the note on the dashboard in you vehicle. And now, while you sit waiting at a red light, study the new words and repeat them out loud. And try to keep up with this and put a new set of 5 words week after week. This will quickly grow your vocabulary -- and do it without taking any extra time out of your busy day.

Next Level

If you like this idea a lot and if you're having fun doing it, you can take it ti the next level by putting sticky-notes on books, magazines, and even photo albums to identify the pictures in Spanish.

The ideas presented here could be a starting point for more activity. Let your imagination and creativity provide you with other uses for the sticky notes. I hope you enjoy your learning.
