The teacher teaches me the music.



Lo haces bien -- ahora toca la canción un poco mas rapido.


You're doing good -- now play the song a little faster.



Si practicas diario, vas a poder tocar mejor.


If you practice every day, you're going to be able to play better.
Most of the phrases on this page are using the informal address in Spanish, and you'll want to be able to quickly convert it to the formal address is the situation requires it.



Con una canción nueva, empieza tocando despacio, y luego mas rapido.


With a new song, begin playing slowly, and later play it faster.



Tambien usa la escala cromatica.

En vez de is a popular Spanish phrase to say instead of. You will also hear the phrase en lugar de to express in place of or instead of.

Tomorrow I'm playing guitar in a concert.
In the sentence above you can also use the wording "tomorrow I'm going to play" -- "mañana voy a tocar..."
